This set brings together familiar Class 1 skills in short, manageable activities. Children may trace letters, read simple words, count objects, compare numbers, complete patterns, name things around them and answer basic questions about the world. Younger children can work with an adult on matching, tracing and picture tasks. Children closer to Class 1 can try reading, writing and number activities with less help. Older children may use the easier pages for revision or support. If your child is still preparing for school, our LKG worksheets can offer a gentler starting point.
At home, choose one page after a snack or reading time and keep the session short. Ask your child to explain how they found an answer instead of correcting every mark straight away. In class, place different pages at small-group tables, then let children move to a new task when they finish. You can read instructions aloud for children who are still building English confidence. Use crayons for matching and circling, a pencil for writing, and a small whiteboard for trying an answer before putting it on the worksheet.
Children often rush counting, start writing letters from the wrong point, reverse some numerals or forget to leave spaces between words. Point to each object as your child counts it, and ask them to touch the starting dot or first line before writing. For number reversals, compare the numeral with a number card and trace it in the air. For reading tasks, encourage your child to say each sound, blend the word and then check the picture. Praise careful effort and ask your child to find one answer they would like to check again.
The set includes early English, maths, EVS and general thinking practice, such as letters, simple words, counting, patterns, sorting and everyday observations.
Yes. Younger children can use the tracing, matching, colouring and picture-based tasks with adult support. Choose pages that match your child's current ability rather than using the class label alone.
About 10 to 25 minutes is usually enough for one activity. Stop earlier if your child is tired, and return to the page another day if needed.

Read the directions, point to one example and ask your child to explain the next step. Give a small hint, such as counting the objects again, before showing the answer.
