This set includes clear multiplication tables, number patterns, skip-counting displays and child-friendly posters. Younger children can look at equal groups, count in twos, fives and tens, or colour selected numbers with an adult. Children in LKG, UKG and Class 1 can use the charts to practise repeated addition and simple facts. Older children can use the full tables to check answers, spot patterns and revise facts from 2 to 10. The mix gives you a visual reference for quick daily practice rather than a long worksheet session.
Place a chart near your child's study area and choose one small section to read aloud each day. At home, cover a few answers with sticky notes and ask your child to recall them, or clap while counting in groups of 2, 5 or 10. In class, pair children and let one child point to a fact while the other says the answer. You can also use a chart during a shop role-play, such as finding the total number of pencils in four groups of three. Link it with a Number Chart 1 to 100 for counting support.
A common mistake is to treat multiplication as a list of unrelated answers. Show the meaning behind a fact, such as 3 x 4 as three groups of four, four groups of three or 4 + 4 + 4. Children may also reverse the order and think the answer changes, so use counters or buttons to show that 3 x 4 and 4 x 3 have the same total. Watch for skipped numbers when counting by 3s or 4s. Ask your child to point to each group, say the repeated addition sentence and then check the chart.
It shows multiplication facts in an organised table. Children can use it to notice patterns, check an answer and practise facts in small groups.
Many children begin with 2, 5 and 10 because these tables connect with simple skip counting. Add 3, 4 and the other tables gradually as your child becomes comfortable.
Begin with real objects arranged in equal groups. Say the repeated addition sentence, count the total together and then show the matching fact on the chart.
Most EarlyActivity printables are free to download. A free account is needed, and free accounts can download up to 20 printables a day.
