Worksheets for Kids

This category brings together worksheets for early learning, language, maths and useful classroom skills. Start with Tracing and Pencil Control, Alphabet and Letters, Phonics, Sight Words, Reading and Comprehension, English Grammar, Vocabulary and Spelling, or Writing and Composition. Maths sections include Numbers, Counting, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Fractions and Decimals, Time and Calendar, Money, Measurement and Comparison, Shapes and Geometry, Patterns, Sorting and Logic, and Graphs and Data. Use your child's current skill rather than age alone. A two or three-year-old may begin with Line Tracing Worksheets, Curved Line Tracing Worksheets and simple Cut and Paste activities. For LKG or UKG, try Letter A Worksheets, Letter B Worksheets, Beginning Sounds Worksheets and early counting pages. Class 1 children may practise Phonics Worksheets, Pre-Primer Sight Words Worksheets, Nouns Worksheets and simple addition. Older children can work on Common and Proper Nouns Worksheets, Reading Comprehension Worksheets, fractions, time and composition.

At home, choose one short page for a focused practice time. Let your child trace with a pencil, colour a letter picture, read the words aloud, then check the page together. In class, print different levels for small groups, use a worksheet as morning work, or place cut and paste pages at a language or maths centre. For extra practice, ask the child to write one new sentence, draw a matching picture, or explain how an answer was found. Keep a folder for finished pages so you can see which skills need more practise.
