About routines & good habits

Charts, schedules and habit activities

This subcategory brings together practical printables for everyday routines and self-care. Morning Routine Chart, Bedtime Routine Chart and Daily Routine Chart for Kids help children see what comes next. Visual Schedule for Kids pages support a clear sequence of tasks. Good Habits Worksheets cover simple actions such as tidying up, being kind and caring for personal belongings. Healthy Eating Worksheets, Screen Time Chart and Hand Washing Activities focus on choices children meet during the day. The topic pages are grouped by skill, so you can choose a chart for a routine or an activity for guided practise.

Choosing a printable by age and level

For children aged 2 to 4, begin with a short visual schedule using familiar steps such as wake up, brush teeth, eat and get dressed. Use pictures and read each label aloud. Children aged 4 to 6 can tick, colour or arrange routine steps, then follow a morning or bedtime chart with your support. For ages 6 to 8, try Good Habits Worksheets, Healthy Eating Worksheets or a Screen Time Chart with simple writing and sorting tasks. Choose fewer steps for a new routine and add more only when your child is comfortable.

Using the activities at home and in class

At home, place a morning or bedtime chart where your child can see it. Let your child point to each step and mark it with a pencil, sticker or small tick. Use the Screen Time Chart to agree on when screen time starts and ends, then keep the chart in the same place. In class, display a Visual Schedule for Kids near the board and refer to it when changing activities. Small groups can sort healthy and less healthy food pictures, sequence hand washing steps or complete Good Habits Worksheets together. Keep instructions short and give children time to respond.
