About planners for kids

Planners for school, holidays and goals

This subcategory brings together simple planning sheets for children from about 6 to 12. You can choose a Weekly Planner for Kids for regular routines, a Summer Planner for Kids for holiday activities, or Goal Setting for Kids for small personal and school targets. Study Timetable for Students pages help children divide subjects across the week, while an Exam Planner helps them record subjects, revision tasks and important dates. The topics are arranged by purpose, so you can start with the page that matches your child's current need rather than searching through unrelated worksheets.

Choosing a planner by age and level

A younger child in Class 1 or 2 may need a weekly page with clear spaces for one task at a time. Read the headings together and let your child draw or write short notes. Children in Class 3 to 5 may manage a study timetable with subjects, homework and breaks. An older child can use goal-setting pages to write a target, a few steps and a date to review progress. If writing is still developing, offer a pencil, stickers or simple drawings. For more challenge, ask your child to estimate time and check the plan at the end of the day.

Using planners at home and in class

At home, print a weekly page on Sunday and help your child add school, play, reading and household tasks. Keep it near the study table and spend five minutes checking what is finished. During summer, children can plan a mix of reading, outdoor play, creative work and family activities. In class, use a study timetable to discuss how pupils can prepare for different subjects, or let small groups create goals for a project. Leave room for changes, since a useful plan should guide the week without making every hour rigid.

Downloading and printing from EarlyActivity

Open the planner topic you want and select the printable PDF. Downloading requires a free EarlyActivity account, and a free account can download up to 20 printables a day. The files are sized for A4 and US Letter paper. In your printer settings, choose Actual size or 100% so the writing spaces keep their intended size. Print one copy first if you want to check the layout. You may use the files at home or in your own classroom, but please do not share or resell them.
