The set gives children practice with simple Teen Akshar Wale Shabd such as कमल, कलम, नगर, गगन, मगर and चमन. Activities may include tracing letters, joining a word to its picture, arranging akshars, circling a matching word and writing a word independently. Younger children can begin with bold tracing lines and picture clues. Children in LKG, UKG and early primary classes can move towards reading the words aloud, copying them and completing missing-akshar tasks. For related practice, you can also use Hindi Worksheets.
At home, begin by saying each akshar slowly and ask your child to blend them into one word. After a matching task, invite your child to find a familiar object or picture that begins with the same sound. In class, place children in pairs and give each pair word cards to arrange before they complete the worksheet. You can read the words together first, then allow quiet individual work. Keep one activity for a short practice session and return to the same words later for reading and spelling. Use Hindi Vyanjan Worksheets when a child needs more letter revision.
Children often read a three-akshar word one part at a time and then lose the middle sound. Point under each akshar as your child says it, then sweep your finger under the whole word and read it smoothly. Some children confuse similar-looking letters or leave out the final akshar while writing. Compare two words gently, ask what changed, and let your child trace the difficult letter before trying again. Pictures should support reading, not replace it, so cover the picture after the first attempt and ask your child to read the word once more.
Teen Akshar Wale Shabd are simple Hindi words made from three akshars, such as कमल, कलम, नगर and गगन. Children practise joining the sounds to read the complete word.
They are suitable for children aged 3 to 8. Younger children can trace and match pictures, while older children can read, arrange and write the words.
Say each akshar clearly, blend the sounds together and let your child match the word with a picture. Repeat a small group of words rather than asking your child to learn too many at once.
Read the word aloud and point to each akshar as you say it. Let your child trace or arrange the akshars first, then try reading the complete word with the picture covered.
